The New Economy Institute was specifically formed to ensure a prepared technical workforce, in the Tennessee Valley Corridor, a prerequisite for successful competition in the new economy.
NEI was founded to assist southeast businesses in economic development and competitiveness through technology. The Institutes services include education, research,development and consulting. The Institute provides these services through educational partners in the fields of engineering, engineering management, engineering technology, applied science, manufacturing technology, electronic commerce, technical entrepreneurship and leadership, strategic planning and technical project management, technical workforce development, knowledge management and information technologies.
